The Athletes in Action (AIA) Sports Complex & Recreation Center (SCRC) has officially signed an agreement to make Pepsi its beverage sponsor for the next three years.
PepsiCo, Inc. represents 10% of all food and beverage sales in the U.S., and its vast beverage base also encompasses not only traditional Pepsi soft drinks but Gatorade and the Mountain Dew product chain.
The switch to Pepsi is driven by the popularity of their product line with youth and young adults, the large market share of their products in the greater Dayton area, and a guarantee of bigger yearly sponsorship and sales dollars.
Pepsi will service the Sports Complex concessions stand and 4 full service vending machines on the AIA Campus. Another draw for AIA to partner with Pepsi is the popularity of Pepsi their sponsorship among professional athletic leagues – the NBA, the NFL, the MLB, and the NHL each boast Pepsi as their official sponsor.
Dean Bouzeos, Director of the AIA Sports Complex and Retreat Center, is excited about the opportunities created by this agreement.
“I look forward to this new partnership and believe it will provide excellent sales and visibility for Pepsi, and additional revenue for ministry acceleration for Athletes in Action.”
