Athletes in Action has had the privilege of hosting eleven different college teams over a three week window of time; partnering to help them prepare for the start of the school year. With many of these teams just beginning their seasons, AIA staff has played a role in providing a variety of team building initiatives for the following programs:
Bluffton University Women’s Soccer – team building
Cedarville University Women’s Soccer – training
Central State Track and Field – team building
Malone University Men’s Soccer – overnight team retreat
Mount Vernon Nazarene University Men’s Soccer – overnight team retreat
Ohio Christian University Athletics Department – team building
Sinclair Community College Softball – team building (+ fall season)
Sinclair Community College Baseball – fall season
Trevecca Nazarene University Women’s Soccer – overnight team retreat
University of Dayton Men’s Soccer – overnight team retreat
Wilberforce Athletics Department – team building
Many of these teams have scheduled nearly a year in advance to secure time on the Athletes in Action Challenge Course, looking to expand in team chemistry, personal leadership, and communication skills. Other teams have consulted with AIA to coordinate a full schedule of activities through an overnight retreat. All teams hope their partnership with Athletes in Action can reinforce their coaches’ messages about coming together to meet future goals.
Dates remain available for Challenge Course sessions and overnight retreats in late summer and early fall, contact Athletes in Action to learn more about these opportunities.
